Growing
• Indoor Sowing: In spring, into prepared plug trays or pots, cover with perlite.
• Outdoor Sowing: In late spring. Tolerates most conditions provided soil isn't completely wet. Thin to 20cm apart.
Medicinal
Tansy is limited in its use and so is not commonly used. Externally, a decoction (simmered infusion) of the herb has been used as a wash for scabies, while internally, it has sometimes been used to rid a person of intestinal worms. Long term use should be avoided.
